YourWay is a travel budget app that helps you plan, track, and review your travel spending. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the YourWay mobile application and website at yourway.one (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address so we can create and manage your account.
Trip and budget data: To provide budgeting features, we store the trip details you enter — such as destination, travel dates, daily budget, and currency. This data lives in your account and is used to power the app.
Expense data: When you log expenses during a trip, we store those records (amount, category, notes) so you can track and review them.
Preferences: We store settings and preferences you configure in the app (such as home currency and notification preferences) to personalise your experience.
Group trip and shared data: If you use group trip features, the trip data you create may be visible to other members you invite to that trip.
Memories and photos: If you attach photos or notes to trips or expenses, those files are stored in your account.
Payment information: When you subscribe to YourWay Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or full payment details on our servers; Stripe handles payment security on our behalf.
Technical and analytics data: We may collect information such as device type, operating system, app version, and usage patterns. This helps us understand how the app is used and identify issues to fix.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and keep your data available across devices.
- To operate core app features — budgeting, expense tracking, and trip management.
- To personalise travel suggestions and budget estimates based on your preferences and history.
- To process payments and manage your Pro subscription through Stripe.
- To send you important account communications, such as subscription confirmations or security notices.
- To improve the reliability, performance, and features of the app using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
- To respond to your support requests.
4. Third-Party Services
To operate YourWay, we rely on a small set of trusted third-party providers:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Your account data and trip data are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase processes data under strict security controls.
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Stripe is certified to PCI-DSS standards. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
- Smart suggestion provider — YourWay uses intelligent features to help estimate budgets and personalise your experience. These features may be powered by a third-party service. Data shared with this provider is limited to what is needed to generate suggestions and is not used for advertising.
- Analytics tools — we may use app analytics tools to measure performance and usage. These tools collect anonymised, aggregated data and do not identify you personally.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
We share your data only with the service providers listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate YourWay. All providers are bound by data processing agreements and confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights or safety of YourWay, its users, or the public.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure infrastructure. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
